The Animal Resource Center (ARC) of Millville, PA is a no-kill, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization whose purpose is to provide temporary shelter for homeless, abused, and neglected dogs and cats; educate the public on their care & welfare; and act as advocates for animal rights. We are also dedicated to promoting the spaying and neutering of cats and dogs; thereby, reducing the number of animals who are homeless, unwanted or destroyed.
Our amazing team of regular, part-time volunteers are committed to helping our animals. We take our convictions and turn them into action. Think you would be a good fit? See our Events page for more information on how you can get involved too! Our volunteers and shelter staff fuel our ARC!
Seeing a need in our community back in 1999, our founder, Al Gregorovicz, put an ad in the paper for like-minded people to come together to devise a plan to help animals in our area. So they did - and keep doing!
We've grown considerably since then - on 20 acres of donated land !
All thanks to the helping hands of of our volunteers and our supportive community!
We couldn't have done it without you!
If you live in one of the following counties, you can also report abuse or neglect to the PSPCA hotline who will dispatch a humane officer based on priority.
Bucks, Chester, Columbia, Delaware, Lancaster, Lebanon, Lehigh, Lycoming, Mifflin, Monroe, Montgomery, Montour, Northampton, Northumberland, Philadelphia, Potter, Snyder, and Union.
Please make sure you have a FULL ADDRESS of the animals location. Submitting pictures or video will help immensely! The PSPCA will dispatch a humane officer based on degree of immediate need. All reports are anonymous. You will NOT get a call back unless they have further questions. You may be able to see a Notice posted on the door propert's door for the property owner to contact the humane officer who posted the notice IF the property owner was not home when a humane officer arrived.
You can also call the hotline at 866-601-7722 that's 866-601-SPCA. Neither ARC nor the Danville SPCA can dispatch a humane officer. YOU must take action!
